Service Manager versions are consistent with Sage 300 version numbers. i.e. versions must always be identical. E.g. 2016 for Sage 300 2016 and so forth.
Occasionally we do release a “B” version that will work with the same version of Sage. e.g. 6.0A and 6.0B will work with Sage 300 2012.

To determine the upgrade path between two different versions of Service Manager:

For example if you are currently on Service Manager version 5.6B and wish to upgrade to version 2020 then you must upgrade to version 6.0A, 6.0B or 2014 before upgrading to 2020. If you are using a version of Service Manager earlier than 5.3A, you must upgrade to either 5.3A, 5.3B, 5.4A or 5.5A before upgrading to 5.6A or later.
The Technisoft Employee Web Portal product includes all necessary components for integration with Sage CRM. Currently, only CRM versions 7.0 through 7.3, Sage CRM 2017, Sage CRM 2018, Sage CRM 2019, and Sage CRM 2020 are supported. Earlier versions will not be supported, but please contact Technisoft directly for details regarding later versions of Sage CRM if they are not listed here.

If you do plan to upgrade Sage CRM then you may also need to upgrade both Sage 300 and Technisoft Service Manager as well. To determine if this is so, refer first to the afore mentioned Sage Knowledgebase article, and then if Sage 300 needs to be upgraded refer to Version Compatibility chart at the top of this page to determine whether or not Service Manager will also need to be upgraded.
